The dark descent of spiritual awakening

Don't be fooled into thinking spiritual awakening is a gentle ascension into bliss. It is a descent - into the depths, into the darkness, into the forgotten corners of the self that have been denied, shamed, or suppressed.

In Tantra, we do not split life into good and bad, light and dark. We embrace it all. To awaken is to unearth everything that longs to be seen, felt, and held. The rage, the grief, the lust, the love - all of it is divine, all of it is you. True awakening is not about becoming perfect, but about becoming whole.

I can guide others only because I have walked through the fires of my own pain. I know what it is to sit in darkness, not as something to fear, but as a sacred space of transformation. I do not just survive there, I thrive. There is beauty in the shadows, wisdom in the wounds, and power in embracing every part of yourself. My path has never been about avoiding the depths but diving into them fully, and that is what allows me to sit with others during their own awakening.
